Hi Stampers! Today I thought I would share with you a sweet little card I made using the Watercolor Wonder stamp set by Stampin’ Up! This card is super easy to make but does involve a little “fussy” cutting. But if your like me, that’s just part of the fun of crafting and who doesn’t like to play with scissors.
This week the framelits for these cute little bears are on sale. One of those must haves from the new 2016 Occasions catalog.
Please check out the other weekly deals. Happy Shopping!!
This week we were challenged to create something using this beautiful and colorful pillow as our inspiration. The center flower is just stunning.
Although I do love all of the colors represented here, I chose to use just a few for my card.
I decided to do a white on white card base.
It seemed to work well with the Gorgeous Grunge and Lighthearted Leaves stamp sets.
I chose Marina Mist, Hello Honey and Pear Pizzaz as my ink pallet.
Let me know what you think and thanks for stopping by!
Looking for those last minute gifts?
We have a few little goodies that would be nice Lunder the tree!
The Weekly deals this week have glimmer paper on sale. Nothing better than a little bling for the holidays.
For Thanksgiving I made these cute little Acorn candy kisses treats. I used the new stamp set “Acorny Thank You”, and punch from the Stampin’ Up! 2015 Holiday catalog.
The instructions are really simple….
Each strip measures 1 1/4″ x 5″. I then scored each strip at 2 1/2″, 3 1/2″ and 4″. Fold and burnish the score lines using a bone folder. I then adhered the candy kiss on the inside of the strip between the 2 1/2″ and 3 1/2″ score lines using a glue dot.
For the acorns I stamped the acorn tops using Delightful Dijon, Tip Top Taupe and Wild Wasabi and then punched them out using the Acorn punch. The acorn bottoms were punched out using natural white card stock.
I attached the acorn using dimensionals and another glue dot to close the flap. They were very easy to assemble and look adorable. I hope you enjoy!!
Look like Christmas came early for us from Stampin’ Up!
Some great deals this week.
